How to configure the DNS for a domain name in Cloudflare and get an SSL certificate?

 

1: How to set up a Root Domain?

  1. Go to Cloudflare DNS setting,
  2. Create a " CNAME " record,
  3. Set Host to " @ or Root ", and
  4. Set the content/target to our domain - app.usermetric.io


2: How to set up a CNAME Domain?

  1. Go to Cloudflare DNS setting,
  2. Create a " CNAME " record,
  3. Set Host to " go, out, or link ", and
  4. Set the content/target to our domain - app.usermetric.io


3: How to get/activate an SSL certificate from Cloudflare?

  1. Set the Proxy Status to " Proxied ",
  2. Go to the " SSL/TLS > Overview " tab,
  3. Change the encryption mode from " Flexible " to " Full "


We hope this can solve your DNS and SSL issues.


Note: We do not provide any SSL certificate to any domain, so if your domain registrar is different, we recommend you transfer your domain to Cloudflare and get an SSL certificate from them.
